Fast times at the Sawtooth household. I'll go into more depth in my XP blog about this process, but I have fixed my install so it has working AHCI drivers! And it only took me an entire day of bullshit! To be fair, most of the bullshit was in fact my fault for not prepping correctly and breaking the MBR. But it's fine. I at least had the foresight to do a system back up, so no reinstalling things for me. Aside from the operating system.

On a more personal note, if everything goes well I should be getting paid to play with computers soon! I'm incredibly excited, it'll be a blast. I do need to buy some more professional attire though. I'm not a total NEET slob, I just mostly own jeans. I was browsing duluth trading co's website for that reason and discovered they sell boxer briefs patterned to look exactly like jorts, which is pretty horrifying.

I've finally got around to updating this site and adding some real content. I was trying to avoid iframes for whatever reason (pride maybe?) but damn if they dont make things super convenient. Now I've got a changelog like all the cool indie-webbers.

I've had some big life stuff, most importantly I just graduated with my bachelor's! However, I am unemployed and living once again with my parents, so I'm trying to form myself into a better me in order to keep sane. Meaning I'm trying to cut out as much social media as possible and do shit I actually care about and that makes me happy, like working on this site. I'm also going to start blogging here about my retro computing adventures in great detail, should anyone benefit from the things I've learned trying to do weird stuff to the old family computer.
